The SDMx Experts Workshop 2026 will feature a dedicated capacity building programme on Friday 4 December.
The programme has been designed to strengthen participants’ knowledge and practical skills across two specialised learning tracks:
Developer & Architect Track and the Data Modeler & Domain Expert Track.
The programme will examine how SDMx is evolving to support AI-enabled statistical systems, while deepening expertise in SDMx 3.0, metadata management, interoperability, and modern statistical production processes.
Through a combination of expert-led sessions, practical case studies, and interactive discussions, participants will gain the knowledge and tools needed to design, implement, and govern interoperable, metadata-driven, and AI-ready statistical ecosystems.
The programme is intended for professionals seeking to leverage SDMx standards to enhance data exchange, improve statistical production, and unlock new opportunities for AI-enabled innovation.
