About the Workshop
The Workshop is a biannual event that brings together SDMX experts from national statistical offices, central banks, international organisations and the private sector, who implement and make use of the SDMX standard.
The event will be organised by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) with the support of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), and the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT), and in close collaboration with the eight (8) sponsoring Agencies of SDMX: Bank for International Settlements (BIS), European Central Bank ( ECB), Eurostat (Statistical Office of the European Union), International Monetary Fund (IMF), International Labour Organization (ILO), United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD), and the World Bank
Objective of the Workshop
The purpose of the Workshop is to discuss and promote good practices; share experiences and lessons learned; as well as updating the SDMX standard to adapt it to new technologies and the evolution of requirements.
This event is an excellent opportunity for SDMX experts from the community of official statistics from various countries to discuss: the implementation of version 3 of SDMX; statistical data modelling for various scenarios such as microdata, exchange or dissemination; governance of data, metadata and artefacts; and to influence the evolution of the SDMX initiative, the statistical guidelines and the tools related to the standard.
